There is a debate but the tires say a 12” wide wheel on the side wall I have seen photos of the real car with 15” and 12” I think the myth is the car is 9’ wide but I don’t know where they are getting that measurement from their is a sign that has been on the internet forever which has the measurements posted in metric if you transferred that 2 inches it gives you all the information you need and that information is correct I have seen the car in person and took 100s of measurements I was with it for a few hours with a camera and tape measure I have 12” on my car on purpose I pain to tag mine and drive it on the street one pic looks like 12” wheels the other looks like 15” wheels I know they used 15” for sure on some but the pic on the flatbed that car is not 9’ wide because I have a flatbed just like that truck and the one pic i think they shaved the tread off the rear tires evenlilboatsman wrote: ↑Fri Apr 25, 2025 7:22 pm Almost driving. That's going to make you popular.
Question, how wide did you make your rear wheels? I've heard that 12" is a good width, but what worked for you?

I never considered that they might have more than one wheel size, but it makes sense just for the different shows they attend.
That's amazing that you got to spend so much time taking measurements. You will have the best chance of an accurate build.
