Steel is on the way. After a late-night discussion about the Tumbler likely costing $50k-$60k, I've been told by the other manager (my wife) to cut that number down a bit.

I have a feeling that I won't be getting those AP Racing calipers.

Did you tell your manager about the potential money or possible endorsement the finished car would bring?

LOL... Well, you could always keep that figure of a build cost, but work around the "manager" in a smarter way...

lol I don't think my kids would ever let it out of the family, so she won't believe that one.

Maybe an endorsement....I could get Menards as a sponsor since I live in their hometown. They have a race team, it should fit right in.

I will start with the cheap/used stuff. Then swap in the expensive stuff when I get all my endorsement deals. :D

Funny you call your wife “manager”.

In Korea, the term we use is “Minister the Internal Affairs”.

On wooden panel just like that? Ain’t that potential fire hazard? Do you just want to see the world burn?

It's regular drywall, but a wood wall would also be fine. Hopefully the manufacturers know what they're talking about, or maybe they're the ones that just want to see the world burn?

I am surprised that it's taking me so long to clear out space in the garage. It would be nice if I could get the butler to do it :D

Your manager doesn’t help out? What about her kids?
